new to the vineyard

If you attend this Sunday, here’s what to expect: We dress casually, with a friendly, informal style. We have free coffee. That's right. FREE coffee, donuts, muffins, or cookies available every morning. It’s good coffee, too! Don’t be afraid to bring your food and beverage into the auditorium, but we do ask that you put a lid on your coffee cup.

Each service starts with 30 minutes of worship. We worship through music and singing that centers on God. Every song we choose seeks to inspire, motivate, reflect biblical truth, and communicate what people who love God want to say to Him, in a style that is relevant to our culture. We make each song accessible by providing the lyrics on a screen above the stage. Please join in or watch and enjoy, but either way open your heart to experience the love and presence of God. We recognize that everyone’s comfort level of music volume is different, so we strive to keep our volume peaking between 85-90db. If this is uncomfortable for you, we have complimentary earplugs available at our Welcome Center.

After a quick greeting and announcements you’ll hear a message from the Bible that is relevant to living a Christ-centered life in today’s culture.

The service ends with prayer and an invitation for anyone who would like to receive personal prayer. We have a trained prayer ministry team available to meet personal prayer needs. Sometimes a prophetic word is given as we find in 1 Corinthians 12:4-11, we believe that God continues to speak to issues and individuals today by the gifting of His Spirit in the Church. If you feel that what was spoken connected with you, we encourage you to respond to God immediately because He wants to do something in your life. Please approach someone on the prayer team and tell them the word that connected with you.

While you’re here, our hope is that you’ll experience the love of Jesus Christ and the warm acceptance of our church community. If you are our guest, we encourage you to fill out a connection card which is located in the Sunday Program, and return it to the Welcome Center to receive a free CD of Vineyard Worship Music and a Welcome Packet that will explain more in detail who we are and what our mission is.

The Vineyard has a special place for children. Children 2 years old through 6th Grade, can be checked into our Kid’s Adventure Tours--an exciting, interactive Bible adventure! Infants and toddlers can be checked into our nurseries. Check-in is located on the west end of the building near the fireplace.
